Arts Membership
Arts & Business Cymru’s Arts Membership exists to support, develop and motivate individuals in the arts and heritage sector who have responsibility for partnerships with business.
The programme is unique within the UK, offering the only national fundraising and culture specific network with over 1,100 members across the country and 115 within Wales. Members meet regularly in North and South Wales and each session provides opportunities for networking, communication & debate and training & development. Other benefits of membership include:
- Advice - arts members are given priority access to one-to-one advice surgeries with A&B Cymru
- Promotion of opportunities - includes promotion of sponsorship opportunities to business members and inclusion on the partnership database
- Professional development programmes - access to members is free of charge
- Board development - members have priority access and discounted rates on courses
- Discounts - on all training days, as well as on seats and advertising at the annual A&B Cymru Awards
- Mailings - circulate job vacancies to its arts network in Wales or across the UK
- Other benefits include - priority access to all A&B Cymru programmes, case studies and publications.
The advice given, free of charge, by a specialist business adviser often has considerable impact on the organisations involved as well as making a significant contribution to developing individual arts managers. The enthusiasm and fresh viewpoint of business advisers has often acted as the catalyst for dynamic change in arts organisations.
