CultureStep 2011-12

Thanks to funding from the Welsh Government and the Arts Council of Wales, Arts & Business (A&B) Cymru has created an investment programme, tailored to the specific needs of Wales, to aid its ambition of increasing private sector support for the arts across the country.  Through CultureStep, A&B Cymru aims to encourage new investment and grow established business engagement with the arts.
 

CultureStep is an open application scheme aimed at:

• Businesses investing in the arts for the first time
• Businesses wishing to develop their existing relationship with the arts
 

How Much Can I Apply For?

Investment levels are dependent on the length of time the business partner has been supporting the arts in Wales, as follows:

•  If a business is in its first year of supporting the arts in Wales or hasn’t supported for 5 years, the maximum CultureStep investment is £1 for every £2 of business investment.
•  If a business has been supporting the arts in Wales for 2-4 years, the maximum CultureStep investment is £1 for every £3 of business investment.   
•  If a business has been supporting the arts in Wales for 5 years or more, the maximum CultureStep investment is £1 for every £4 of business investment.   

The minimum business investment required is £1,000.  The maximum CultureStep investment is £20,000. The minimum is £500.

• Busnesau sy’n dymuno datblygu eu perthynas bresennol â’r celfyddydau 
 

Faint Alla i Wneud Cais Amdano?

Mae lefelau o fuddsoddi yn ddibynnol ar y cyfnod mae’r partner busnes wedi bod yn cefnogi’r celfyddydau yng Nghymru, fel a ganlyn:

• Os yw busnes yn ei flwyddyn gyntaf o gefnogi’r celfyddydau yng Nghymru neu nid yw wedi’u cefnogi am 5 mlynedd, uchafswm buddsoddiad CultureStep yw £1 am bob £2 a fuddsoddir gan y busnes.
• Os yw busnes wedi bod yn cefnogi’r celfyddydau yng Nghymru am rhwng 2 a 4 blynedd, uchafswm buddsoddiad CultureStep yw £1 am bob £3 a fuddsoddir gan y busnes.    
• Os yw busnes wedi bod yn cefnogi’r celfyddydau yng Nghymru am 5 mlynedd neu fwy, uchafswm buddsoddiad CultureStep yw £1 am bob £4 a fuddsoddir gan y busnes.   

Lleiafswm buddsoddiad busnes sy’n ofynnol yw £1,000. Uchafswm buddsoddiad gan C&B trwy CultureStep yw £20,000. Y lleiafswm gan C&B yw £500.
