Arts membership

As part of our commitment to encourage the cultural sector to develop partnerships and secure investment from the business sector, Arts & Business delivers a programme of arts services across the UK to train, advise, support, encourage debate and promote best practice.

Our Arts Membership service drives discussion and continued professional development among managers in fundraising and cultural leaders, while also providing a key communication point between Arts & Business and the cultural sector. This service is unique within the UK, offering the only national fundraising and culture specific network for the sector with over 1100 members across the country, of which over 180 are in Scotland.

Arts membership is arranged on an organisational rather than individual basis, although individuals such as sole-trading independent arts sponsorship consultants and arts practitioners may join. Each organisation may name two contacts who will receive our mailings, e-digest and event invitations.

As part of the annual subscription fee, members receive the following benefits:

• Access to our arts fundraisers' learning and networking community and the Development Forum which meets three times a year with guest speakers
• Business Digest – monthly publication which gives a snapshot of current business and arts news with extracts taken from a wide range of newspapers, publications and other sources
• Discounted rates on our consultancy services and priority access to face-to-face surgeries
• Board development services including advice, access to board bank and training for boards and board members
• Access to our Skills Bank programme – which places business volunteers with cultural organisations as management advisers.
• Free listings on our arts job page
• Free or discounted access to our national programme of master classes
• Advanced access to research, studies and reports including our annual Private Investment in Culture Survey
• Discounts on professional services, conferences, training events and other third party services
