Master class series 2010 - 2011

A&B Master Classes cover the subjects relevant to develop and empower the arts and cultural sector in NI to allow them to build sustainable partnerships with the private sector.

The master class series delivers training and unprecedented peer-to-peer learning opportunities.  The outcome is the creation of a powerful, entrepreneurial approach to seeking and securing funding, managing relationships, evaluating and demonstrating real return on investment, as well as embracing new funding opportunities.

Art of the Pitch

Art of the Pitch is an intensive training course designed to enhance the business acumen, personal confidence and presentation skills of those working in fundraising and marketing within arts organisations. 

Training Days
at  Arts & Business Office, Bridge House, Paulett Avenue, Belfast 
on Monday 15 November 2010,  Monday 22 & Tuesday 23 November 2010 

Pitch Day
at  Davy NI,  Donegall House, 7 Donegall Square North, Belfast
on Thursday 25 November 2010

Advanced Sponsorship Training

This is an intensive one-day course giving in-depth insight into securing large sustainable high-level sponsorship. This course will be delivered early 2011 in Belfast or Derry.
 


Introduction to Sponsorship for Community Arts Groups

Basic level training to empower community arts groups to approach the private sector for support. Two half-day courses will be held in regional council areas during September 2010.

Introduction to Board Membership

Part of the A&B governance health check programme, this half-day training session introduces new board members, and those who would like a refresher, to their roles and responsibilities and to current best practice.
