Invest North West Programme

Hook

Invest North West

“Arts Council of Northern Ireland is delighted to be funding Arts & Business Northern Ireland’s new Invest North West Programme which has been designed specifically to support business and cultural collaborations in the North West. The programme will work to increase the capacity of arts organisations engaging with business sponsors in the run up to Derry~Londonderry City of Culture 2013.” Said Nick Livingston, Director of Strategic Development, Arts Council of Northern Ireland

“The Londonderry Chamber welcomes this new investment fund that will help businesses to explore and develop relations with Cultural Partners in the run up to 2013. In these austere and difficult economic times, it is very welcome news that this fund has been set up to help businesses take, perhaps for the first time, steps into forming positive successful partnerships with arts and cultural organisations. We would encourage our businesses to become involved, the level of entry has been deliberately kept low so we would encourage our local organisations to come along and explore the opportunities.” said Sinead McLaughlin, Chief Executive, Londonderry Chamber of Commerce.

Shona McCarthy, Chief Executive, Culture Company 2013 said:
"We are delighted that Arts & Business NI has created this incentive fund aligned to Derry - Londonderry 2013, it will give local businesses the opportunity to double their money by venturing into arts sponsorship for the first time. This initiative sits perfectly with the ethos of partnership and collaboration that will make our City of Culture a success for 2013 and beyond."

Martin Bradley, Chair, City of Culture 2013; Mary Trainor-Nagele, Chief Executive, Arts & Business NI and Nick Livingston, Director of Strategic Development, ACNI
