Announcing the shortlist for the Arts & Business South East Awards 2010

Hook

"I’m delighted that we have such a strong shortlist for this year’s SE awards. Our panel of judges faced a challenging task in agreeing the shortlist today, especially in the Community and Sustained Partnership categories. The calibre of nominations in these categories was extremely high, but all the shortlisted partnerships demonstrate passion, creativity and real commitment. I wish all the shortlisted partnership the best of luck for the Awards evening, and thank all the businesses involved for their vitally important contribution to the vibrancy of the arts and culture in the south east."
Jane Chambers, Regional Director, Arts & Business

In true World Cup style, we are pleased to announce the next round of the 2010 Arts & Business South East Awards in partnership with Rolls Royce Motor Cars Ltd ... the shortlisted partnerships.

We are especially pleased that Hampshire has done particularly well this year with six entries, four of which are from Portsmouth!

Rolls Royce Motor Cars Ltd has championed the role of arts and culture in the community through a variety of partnerships across the South East region. They won an Arts & Business Sustainability Award in 2007 for the best long-term partnership, for the company’s sustained engagement with the Chichester Festival Theatre.

Together with all our partners, we will be announcing the winners at a prestigious awards ceremony held at The Cass Sculpture Foundation, who is a key partner, in the grounds of the Sculpture Park on 14 July 2010.
