Arts & Business says ...

“We are delighted to have worked with the Staffordshire Hoard Partnership on such an exciting project and wish the campaign every success.”
Gavin Buckley, Arts & Business Regional Director

“The Staffordshire Hoard has fired the imagination of the public and underlines the role of artefacts in developing awareness of our national history and identity. The find has focused attention on the interpretation of heritage collections; and raises the profile of museums as places of learning and inspiration.

It is essential to raise the funds to ensure that the Hoard is secured for Britain and for the West Midlands region in particular.  Arts & Business has been integral to the current success of the fundraising campaign; the fundraising strategy they developed has provided a robust basis to the work of the Staffordshire Hoard Partnership.”
Jon Finch, Director of Engagement West for the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council

The battle to save the Staffordshire Hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold for the nation is underway following input from Arts & Business.

The unparalleled archaeological find was uncovered in the West Midlands last summer.  The treasure was valued at £3.3 million in November 2009 and the clock has now started ticking on a four month period during which the funds to acquire the Hoard must be raised.
