Hollis Sponsorship Awards... shortlist announced

Arts & Business says ...

"Arts & Business is once again delighted to be a partner of the Hollis Awards. As this year’s shortlist of five reveals, the arts category has some outstanding, enterprising entries.

We know that our total figure for private sector investment in culture in the UK has fallen to £653.8 million for 08/09. And we also see business investment decreasing by 6% to £157 million.  At this moment of financial caution, these partnerships show how innovative arts and business partnerships can bring success – now often on a global scale.

We are always delighted to see two of our Principal members (HSBC and Sky Arts) featuring as finalists."

Colin Tweedy, Chief Executive, Arts & Business

MEC Access - winners of the Hollis Sponsorship Awards 2009

High profile multinational blue-chip companies through to small regional organisations feature on the shortlist for the coveted Hollis Sponsorship Awards – each showing just how creatively and effectively sponsorship can be used for a huge variety of strategies and objectives.

The Hollis Sponsorship Awards reward and recognise the very best sponsorship campaigns in the UK and internationally – across all sectors and across all budget bands. Despite the straitened times the sponsorship industry is facing, this year’s judging panel, manned by specialist professionals from each industry sector, was encouraged both by the number and range of entries but most importantly by the quality.

Each entry is scrutinised against a strict set of criteria – with clear objectives, creative execution and exploitation and evidenced outcomes/outputs and evaluation as key requirements.

Arts & Business is very pleased to support the Arts Sponsorship category for this year's Hollis Sponsorship Awards.
