"Our independent panel of judges were incredibly impressed by the quality and breadth of all of the entries and I know had a tough time choosing between them. In the East of England, the economic turmoil has had less of an effect than in some of the other regions but even so it has been a time of restraint and holding back from some of the more ambitious plans that were afoot; that’s why it is so heartening to see that the commercial sector has continued to support the cultural sector in the region." Gill Bloomfield, Regional Director, Arts & Business

This unique performance brought together the worlds of contemporary art practice and aviation engineering. The artist worked with the technical team at the Business Aviation Centre to interpret the technology of flight using film, recorded sources and music.
