Arts & Business Scotland 2009 Awards Shortlist announced

Hook

Many of these shortlisted partnerships are being used to assist communities to meet difficult challenges.
This year's short list shows that sponsorship has been holding up in spite of the economic difficulties and is not just linked to the central belt. I am particularly pleased at the range of business sectors that have discovered that engaging with the arts can bring real commercial benefits, with imaginative sponsorships happening from Orkney to Wigtown, and many of these shortlisted partnerships are being used to assist communities to meet difficult challenges.

Barclay Price, Director of Arts & Business Scotland
