Arts & Business invites tenders for the provision of an innovative, accredited programme of training and company development specifically designed to meet the needs of the cultural sector in Northern Ireland.
What does Link Initiative involve?
Over the past eight years we have run the Arts & Business Link Initiative, an innovative programme of training and company development specifically designed to meet the needs of those working within the arts sector.
In 2009-10 the programme will cover areas of strategic business planning, marketing, sponsorship, fundraising, finance, leadership and a range of other disciplines thus increasing the organisation’s capacity for sustainable growth.
The programme aims to assist the arts to:
• Identify new funding and revenue streams to increase sustainability and reduce grant dependency
• Improve their business and management skills
• Strengthen and develop business principles and skills for participating arts organisations
• Identify new ways to improve the performance of arts organisations and their boards
• Identify and address a specific performance issue within their organisation
• Commit to continuous learning and development
• Benefit from peer to peer learning
• Explore other cultural organisations best practice models (national/international)
