Winner of the British Council A&B International Award, 2009

The opportunity

Pharmaceutics giant Takeda has taken the London Symphony Orchestra to delighted audiences throughout the world through a staggering 192 sponsored concerts so far. This committed relationship was formed over 20 years ago to enhance Takeda’s visibility and image as a globally recognised brand. LSO’s Takeda sponsored tours make possible the orchestra’s mission ‘to make the finest music available to the greatest number of people’. Through Takedo’s support the LSO has also been able to take its ‘LSO Discovery’ education work to an international audience.
