Company Secretary, Martin Williams

Born in 1946, Martin Williams is Company Secretary of the Arts & Business group.  Working on a part-time basis, he combines this role with the non-executive chairmanship of Peters Edition Limited, a long-established firm of music publishers, and a directorship of Marlin Chemicals Limited, international traders in chemicals, plastics and waxes. Before joining Arts & Business, Martin was, for over 20 years, chief executive of the Musicians Benevolent Fund - the largest charity in the UK helping musicians and their families in old age, sickness or misfortune.  He is a trustee of a number of national charities including the Royal Albert Hall.
